Your better than you think.

Say I was to gift you with a small vile of magic healing potion that would cure every disease known to man, but the catch is there is only enough for one person, all you have to do is uncap the vile and poor it on your head and whalla your healed from every thing from depression to cancer and guaranteed to die of a ripe old age, unless of course you get careless and step out in front of a buss or something…

What would ya do ???

You don’t have to answer this question because I already know whatcha would do. You’d take the vile to someone else that you care for who is for the lack of a better term been dealt a crappy hand; you’d uncap the thing and dump it straight away on their head. Oh yeah, and you would do it with great joy, even if it meant your own death.

Maybe there was a time that you would do this because you couldn’t live with yourself, had you used it on you instead of them, even that is a selfish motive. But now it’s different, self for self is no longer your motive or your nature, now that you’re joined to the Master and growing in Him, it’s all about them now isn’t it.
